National Alliance for Mental Illness – a non-profit organization composed of consumers, family members, professionals, and friends who have come together to share and take comfort in the commonality of their experiences, and to educate members and their communities about serious brain disorders. Along with education and support, NAMI Omaha actively advocates at the local, state, and national levels to improve the services and the lives of those affected by mental illness, as well as their families.

Nebraska Network of Care for Behavioral Health – Network of Care is a National and state and local resource designed to bring recovery resources under one location and includes a resource directory, a library of over 30,000 pages, legislative information at the state and federal level.  The site includes a social networking system and recovery orientated tools for WRAP plans and personal health information.

American Psychiatric Association (APA) – Learn about common disorders, answers to common questions, and stories and links to more resources.

Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) – An international nonprofit organization committed to finding a cure for anxiety disorders and depression. Great webinars and brochures available for free.

American Foundation for Suicide Prevention – Resources for those who have been affected by suicide. The Foundation offers opportunities to help others in the field of suicide prevention.

211 Organization – 211 works a bit like 911.  Calls to 211 are routed by the local telephone company to a local or regional calling center.  The 211 center’s referral specialists question callers, access databases of resources available from private and public health and human service agencies, match the callers’ needs to available resources, and link or refer them directly to an agency or organization that can help.

NE Dept. of Veteran Affairs – Post Traumatic Stress Disorder – Services by County – is a comprehensive Web site database featuring extensive information about thousands of different medications and drugs currently on the market or previously available worldwide.

Tess - Tess is a psychological AI that administers highly personalized psychotherapy, psycho-education, and health-related reminders, on-demand, when and where the mental health professional isn’t. Interaction with Tess is solely through conversation, exclusively via existing communication channels, such as SMS, Facebook Messenger, Web Browsers, and several other platforms.
